Guest Post by Radha Yadav (Food Recipe - Egg Paratha)

Egg Paratha is an easy to make breakfast, lunch or dinner recipe that is rich in protein, healthy and extremely tasty to eat. I fondly remember my mother making it for me as a school snack.

  • ½ cup wheat flour (atta)
  • ½ cup water (100 ml)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion chopped finely
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Pro Tip: You can add cheese, tomatoes and capsicum as per your needs

  1. Add ½ cup wheat flour to a bowl
  2. Knead it with water and oil to make a soft dough
  3. Cover it and set aside for approx. 20 minutes
  4. Prepare the egg mixture – salt and black pepper
  5. Roll the dough to a round even layer and add oil to it.
  6. Place the paratha on the hot pan (tawa) with oil.
  7. Once the paratha is puffy, pour the egg mixture on top of it
  8. Flip the paratha and cook on the other side as well to ensure that the egg is cooked completely on the edges.
  9. Flip it again and put chopped onions, green chillies and coriander leaves on top of the paratha and cook for 1-2 minutes
  10. Roll it and your egg paratha is ready and can be served with green chutney or tomato ketchup or mustard sauce
